What’s Angie Doing?

Hi y’all! How have you been? I bet we’re all ready for winter to be over ❄️ and spring to arrive 🌷! I spent all but 3 days in January snowed in ⛄, and that was fun, haha!

So, I guess since this is the first post, I should tell you a little about myself. I’m 61 years old, and I live in a rural area in Washington County, Ohio. I have 2 kids 👦👧, several grandkids, and some great-grandkids. My man and I have been together for 20 years ❤️—never married. He’s not in really great shape these days and spends most of his time in a hospital bed 🛏️, so that leaves all of the things that need to be done to me. I’m not getting about all that well myself, but I do the best I can every day. Some days, the spoons are gone before I get out of bed! 🥄

I’ve raised two grandkids since they were very little, and they are teenagers now! 🧑‍🦱👧 They help me out a lot and are really good kids. We started homeschooling 📚 about three years ago, and we love it. I wished we’d started when they were little, but we can’t go back now.

Did someone say pets? 🐱🐶 Oh, we have those! There are three cats 🐈 and two dogs 🐕. The dogs stay outside and love it because they are not housedog-type dogs. The cats go out a lot and mostly drive me nuts with the in and out they do on a daily basis. I really only wanted one cat, but here we are with three—and I’ll tell you that story another time.

Anyway, that’s just a little peek into life around here. Nothing fancy—just real days, real people, and a porch that sees it all.
